Go to Basic !!

Salam...

Alhamdulillah, since 3 weeks ago i had learnt a new basic technique!

That basic technique was originated from Jurus 1.

1. We punch by using the same leg and hand. By holding and putting the right hand at left hand, so the right hand can be our blocking and concurrently our left hand is used as attacking weapon!

2. By using this basic same technique position or style , we instead using the elbow to give the deadly attack to our opponent face, neck & the most dangerous point.

Insyallah, sooner or later by following the principal "Repetition is the Mother of Learning " and "Practice Make Perfect", insyallah we will success and get familiar with the technique.

Remember this is our duty and responsible to make sure that we equip ourself with the basic self-defence technique.

3. Dengan kita letakkan tangan tangan kita ke tangan kiri kita, dengan tanpa melepaskan teknik itu, maka kita buat gerakkan seperti Tai-Chi. Dengan gerakkan 1 tangan yang di bawah acting as "lumpuh", so tangan yang "hidup" akan membawa tangan yang "lumpuh" dengan gerakkan ke hadapan, ke atas, ke bawah...

4. Teknik masuk buah 1. Dengan musuh menumbuk and menyerang dengan menggunakan tangan kanan, kita masuk ke arah musuh dengan gerakkan 1 langkah ke kanan. Seterusnya kita melangkah masuk kearah musuh dengan kaki kiri kita mencari kaki musuh manakala tangan kiri kita menghentak ke dada atau ke tangan kiri musuh yang mengakibatkan musuh akan terpelanting ke belakang!

5. Teknik musuh menyerang sisi rusuk kanannya. Kita mengelak dengan terus melangkah masuk ke arah musuh (drp arah luar) dengan hentakkan tangan kanan kita ke lengan kanan musuh. Seterusnya dengan gunakan tangan kanan itu kita terus memancung ke bahagian leher musuh. Akibatnya musuh akan terpelanting keluar.

6. Teknik musuh menyerah drp susuk kanan. Kita mengelak dengan langkah kekanan 1 langkah manakala kaki kiri kita terus mencari & menghentak bahagian lutut kiri musuh. Serentak tangan kiri kita terus memaut dan mencampak musuh ke belakang!

Recap about teknik Gerak Pukul Lian Yunan (GPLY)

Salam...

" Gerak pun kena pukul, tak gerak pun kena pukul "

For starting below are the list of techniques which i learnt :

1) Teknik Buah Silang tangan Ultraman

2) Teknik tolak dengan tapak tangan + blocking

3) Teknik tarik & pukul ( baju, rambut, sendi pergelangan tangan, body )

4) Teknik pukul satu-satu ( ada beribu cara)

5) Teknik susur Ular ( 3 steps) + pergerakkan kaki serentak

6) Teknik Mongeng terbalik + pukul

7) Teknik betis bidas belakang

8) Teknik pukul FRU style (1 kaki tekan & siku pukul leher)

9) Teknik buah arwah Acik Bakar ( tangan pukul sendi & masuk ketam )

10) Teknik kaki terlebih & we pukul curi kebelakang betis /lutut dengan tumit kita

11) Teknik pukul 1 dengan gunakan lutut kita terus ke perut/penyawa/peha belah dalam hampir dengan kawasan penyawa

12) Teknik hentak & hantuk dengan genakan lutut yang diangkat ke atas setinggi aras pusat. We tarik leher/kepala ke bawah dengan hentakkan ke hujung lutut kita.

13) Teknik pijak 1 kaki musuh dah masukkan terus badan kita dgn melancarkan 2 tangan kita serentak ke penyawa & dada@muka.

14) Teknik Tumit pukul (a) Tulang Belakang (b) Leher (c) Betis

15) Teknik TWIST kaki kanan & pukul dengan siku kiri & tangan kanan pukul rusuk!

16) Teknik TWIST dua, dua. Kaki kanan dan tangan kanan/siku kita berpaut ke pangkal bahu kanan musuh dan dengan gunakan siku, kita angkat bahu musuh & hentakkan siku ke rusuk musuh. Turunkan tangan kita yang membuat hentakkan tersebut untuk mencari penyawa musuh dengan meNEPUKnya dengan kuat!

17) Teknik Lilit Ular. Dengan gunakan kanan tgn utk blocking/attack, tangan kiri(kanan) akan menyusul seperti gerakkan ular dibahagian BAWAH utk memaut dan membuka jalan kpd tangan kanan (kiri)untuk mencari titik bahaya seperti di rusuk dan di bawah bahagian punting.

18) Teknik Buah 5. Angkat tangan kanan dan buat pukulan. Tangan kiri pula akan memukul/menepuk bahagian bahu kanan serentak dgn gerakkan kaki kanan maka tangan kiri akan bergerak maju kedepan utk buat blocking/serangan.

19) Teknik pukul kaki kanan kepada sudut kaki musuh.

20) Teknik blocking dengan menggunakan bahagian bawah siku. Then lancarkan serangan dengan gunakan hujung siku.

21) Teknik pukul 3 ( 1 tangan sahaja )+ 1 (tumbuk dengan tangan berlawanan )

22) Teknik pukul 3 ( 1 tangan sahaja) + 2 ( tendang dengan kaki kanan dan kiri )

23) Teknik Taji Ayam. Dengan gunakan siku.

24) Teknik pukul buah 1 dengan cara cucuk

25) Teknik jatuh. Dengan musuh pukul dengan tangan kanan & kaki kanan, maka dengan gunakan bahagian lutut dan peha kita masuk ke bawah kaki kanan musuh. Dan kita pusing bahagian kaki kiri kita tersebut sambil kedua tangan kita menolak bahagian tubuh/dada musuh. Akibatnya musuh akan terlentang/campak jatuh kerena ketidak seimbangan.

26) Teknik Tips masa bertempur. Kacip bahagian gigi & geraham kita. sambil gengam & KUNCI semua otot-otot di bahagian badan kita.

27) Teknik Pukul Sendi. Teknik buat pukulan kuat ke bahagian lembut badan seperti bahagian yang hampir dengan kuku. Juga di bahagian lembut/sendi yang menyambungkan tapak tangan dengan lengan!

28) Teknik Kaki pukul sendi lutut sebelah sisi. Dengan gunakan tapak kaki depan, kita lancarkan sepakan ke sudut bahagian lutut sisi musuh. Akibatnya boleh menyebabkan musuh tergeliat/patah di bahagian sendi lutut sisi.

29) Teknik kaki tumit pukul sendi kaki. Dengan gunakan tumit kaki, kita melancarkan serangan ke arah bahagian sendi bahagian kaki musuh. Cuba patah/pijak/geliatkan.

30) Teknik STOP pergerakkan musuh. Dengan gunakan bahagian tumit kaki kita tonjolkan ke bahagian dalam atas peha yang berdekatan dengan kawasan penyawa musuh! Untuk Tinju Siam mereka gunakan bahagian tumit & depan tapak kaki dengan lancarkan ke bahagian dada @ perut musuh.

31) Teknik Buang Sendi Gajah part 1. Ini adalah buah jatuh GPLY. Dengan badan mengadap lurus ke musuh, kaki tetap & kita gunakan bahagian antara siku & lengan kanan kita untuk menyaut bahagian kanan yang berada di atas siku ke bahu musuh! Sementara itu dengan gunakan kaki kiri kita (bahagian antara lutut & betis ) akan masuk kebelakang kaki kanan musuh. Akibatnya musuh akan tak seimbang dan jatuh.

32) Teknik Buang Sendi Gajah Part 2. Dengan kita masukkan badan kita kearah badan musuh! Sementara kaki kanan kita akan menyaut/menarik kaki belakang musuh ( yg tengah menjadi tiang seri/paksi)!Akibatnya musuh akan terlentang ke belakang seperti nangka buruk!

33) Teknik Buang Sendi Gajah part 3. Dengan kita gunakan 1 kaki kita untuk pijak kaki musuh yg di hadapan. so dengan menggunakan kedua ibu tangan kita menolak musuh kebelakang!

34) Teknik Tangan Ultraman. Ada berbagai cara untuk sambil menangkis kita mennyerang musuh dengan kombinasi siku kita kearah dada & bahagian muka musuh.

35) Teknik Tapak selangkah @ tapak hulubalang.

36) Teknik Badan Gayang seperti ular. Dengan selalu mengadap ke arah musuh.

37) Teknik Buah 1 (1 tangan) . Hasilkan (1) Tarik, (2) Tekan (3) Tikam (4)Angkat hasilkan a)Patah b)Tumbuk ke rusuk c) Sikukan (5) Sikukan terus ke dada/leher

38) Teknik badan gerak untuk elak tetapi tapak kaki tetap. Jika musuh menumbuk dengan gunakan tangan kanan, justeru kita mengelak dengan memalingkan dada kita ke kanan. Sementara tangan kanan kita bersedia untuk "block"!

( a ) Dengan gunakan bahagian siku kiri, kita mengangkat lengan kiri musuh
( b ) dan masukkan kaki kiri kita dengan "inbalance"kan musuh!
( c ) serentak dengan buat pukulan dengan gunakan siku kiri kita terus kedada musuh.
( d ) Serentak dengan tangan kiri membuat pukulan terus ke penyawa atau bahagian musuh yang lemah.

39) Dengan menggunakan Teknik Tarik Ikan Keli. Dengan gerakkan tapak kaki kita menjadi Tapak 1. Seterusnya, kita menekan bahagian bahu musuh serentak dengan kita menolak bahagian pergelangan musuh ke atas. Dengan gunakan kaki atau lutu kita membuat pukulan ke muka atau bagaguan dada musuh.

Secret of GPLY self defence


Salam..

Alhamdulillah i learnt a new several "secret" techniques.

1.0 By using your forearm, you quickly moving and "twist" your hand which will be resulting you can use it as blocking or attacking sumultaneously. That is the "secret" weapon!

2.0 By moving and entering your body ( with your both legs not moving! ), you are using your forearm to launch an attack to your opponent's chest area!

3.0 By moving and entering your body ( with you use 1 leg to enter and face your enemy), you launching the attack to your enemy's chest area by using your forearm !At the same time, you can use your leg and knee area to hit your enemy's thigh's or penis/vagina or groin's area!

4.0 One most painful area which we could hit is the area below our breast's area! For your information that area is having soft bones structure! Also, you can give a punch and hit to others dangerous area such as the ear and eye and neck's area.

5.0 Also by using our both elbow, we could launch the deadly strike to our opponent! By using elbow technique, has 9 basic steps! If you in the close range combat, it is good we use both our elbow and knee combination!

6.0 "Measuring the Distance" is one of the most important and crucial techniques we need to familiar. Meaning the GPLY student need to know how to avoid the opponent's punch or kick.

By standing at same place, you just using your body to avoid the attack! Also, by using your both hand to prevent your enemy from launching the attack!

By moving your body and 1 leg simultaneously, you easily can avoid the attack from your enemy!

7.0 By using your foot, we launch a kick to our opponent's leg/foot/knee area!

8.0 By using the knee, we launch the attack to our opponent's right leg and concurrently by using that same leg which we launching the knee's attack, we kick left leg of our enemy!


All those above mentioned step only can be understood if i show you in demo! :)

Ramadhan - Jurus







Salam..


Today on Thursday (8 Oct 2009), i met with my Cifu.

The best thing was he shared with me that last night he dream!

In his dream, he was fighting with 5 opponents who was so brilliant and skillful in their self defence technique.

However alhamdulilla, he manageed to beat all of them but the impact was while he woke up from his slept, he felt the painful at his whole body!

This is mysterious for me because isn't real or just dream! :)

Alhamdulillah today i learnt a new attacking technique >

1. By using the elbow to launch the strike by hitting the enemy's shoulder and at the same time making an attack by using the elbow to enemy's chest or face area!
2. By using elbow to strike to the chest area and meanwhile others hand do a blocking.
3. To "press" the enemy hand and give the punch by using another hand to enemy's face.
4. To attack the multiple kick to the right and left opponent's leg. Targetting the weakness point which is at "sendi lutut "@ "knee sensitive weakneses point " area.
5. To grip and lock and break the opponent's hand!
6. We enter and knocking the enemy's neck by striking and using our elbow. Plus follow with we pull and bring down opponent's neck and give 1 single strike by using our knee to enemy's face or stomach!
7. To use our knee to "open" the opponent's leg.Then simultaneously by using both two hands we launching the deadly attack to oppenent's body.
8. By using the "boxing" punching technique, we launch the punch by targetting/hitting the opponent's 'soft' area such as hand, neck, throat and face area..
9. By using our leg, we attack the enemy's nerve area between the area of elbow and arm. The objective is to bring down the enemy's weapon at his/her hand.
10. By using our hand we block and catch the opponent's hand and try to "break" it! This movement like the "catch and lock" technique in silat.
11. Practice hard and consistent on daily basisi by standing up by using 1 leg/. This is to balance it.
12. Practice and execise on daily basis by trying to make our body "soft" by stretching our leg able to kick high!


*Note : I strongly believe the GPLY player can easily can beat the "Boxing Siam" or Tee Kwan Do martial art player!@..Insyallah..

History of LIAN

Below is one article which i found has information regarding the connection between the self defence which i have been learning ( Gerak Pukul Lian Yunan [GPLY] )now.

For your information, the version GPLY which i practice don't have the formal venue. Myself only using the small car parking area at my Cifu's house area!

I don't need to wear the standard uniform to learn that art. Enough with by wearing the track suit or kain sarung only!

Sejarah Lian

LIAN adalah perkataan dalam bahasa Yunan, bermaksud "SILAT" dalam bahasa Melayu atau cara-cara atau teknik-teknik beladiri. Itulah yang dianggap oleh Guru Silat Lian pada satu masa dahulu. Bagi kami daripada Pertubuhan Gerak Silat Lian Malaysia beranggapan sebagai 'L'- Latihan, 'I'-Istikamah, 'A'-Anggota, 'N'-Nafas. Iaitu penyatuan segala gerak laku tubuh adalah bergantung semata-mata kepada kemampuan nafas.


Gerak Silat Lian ini pula adalah sejenis cara mempertahankan diri yang berasal dari Yunan. Nama asal persilatan ini ialah LIAN YUNAN, BUAH PUKUL MERSING, atau LIAN 13. Ianya telah berkembang di Tanah Melayu pada zaman dahulu dan sejarahnya telah dicatat pada mulanya oleh Syed Abdul Rahman pada Februari 1897 di Bandar Maharani, Muar. Pergerakan jurusnya ada sedikit kelainan mengikut guru-guru Lian yang mengembangkannya. tetapi ianya tetap Lian dan juga tetap Buah Pukul, asalnya dari satu keturunan, demikian dinyatakan oleh Guru Tua Ali Bin Kassim dari Endau, Johor. Di dalam Aliran Gerak Silat Lian ianya perlu diketahui ukuran jangka musuh, gerak ini perlu dipelajari dan dihayati kerana ianya adalah "Senjata Bagi Kita dan Rahsia Bagi Musuh".

Gerak Silat Lian ini dikembangkan di Kuantan, Pahang oleh En. Nazri Bin Hussin. PJK., di mana beliau telah mempelajari silat ini daripada Encik Salleh Bin Mamat yang berasal dari Kampung Ibai, Kuala Terengganu. Encik Salleh bin Mamat ini adalah seorang nelayan yang berpindah dari kampung asalnya dan tinggal di Kampung Tanjung Api, Kuantan. Encik Nazri Bin Hussin mula belajar silat ini pada tahun 1964 di Kampung Tanjung Api, Kuantan. Beliau telah di iktiraf sebagai Pembantu Gelanggang (Guru kake) pada tahun 1965 hingga 1985. Pada tahun 1988, beliau telah di lantik sebagai Guru Kanan dan Guru Utama Gerak Silat Lian dengan restu guru daripada Encik Salleh Bin Mamat iaitu Encik Hassan Bin Salleh yang tinggal di Kampung Gong Dato', Mengambang, Telipot, Kuala Terengganu.

Encik Salleh Bin Mamat adalah seorang pesilat Seni Silat Gayong Terengganu. Beliau telah mempelajari Silat Lian daripada Encik Hassan Bin Salleh semasa bekerja sebagai nelayan di Kampung Mengambang, Telipot, Kuala Terengganu kira-kira dalam tahun 1950-an. Manakala Encik Hassan Bin Salleh adalah murid kepada Guru Tua iaitu Encik Ali Bin Kassim. Encik Hassan Bin Salleh telah belajar di Kampung Belimbing Juling, Endau, Johor daripada Guru Tua Silat Lian Encik Ali Bin Kassim kira-kira dalam tahun 1940-an, di mana pada ketika itu Encik Hassan Bin Salleh bekerja dengan Encik Ali Bin Kassim, mencari Rotan Manau pada masa itu. Beliau juga sempat berulang-alik dari Kuantan ke Kuala Terengganu untuk menambah pengetahuan dan belajar selok-belok Silat Lian daripada Encik Hassan Bin Salleh yang tinggal di Kampung Gong Dato', Telipot, Kuala Terengganu dari tahun 1965 hingga 1994.

Beliau juga sempat mengambil ketetapan gerak laku Silat Lian ini daripada Encik Ali Bin Kassim dalam tahun 1986 hingga 1987 an perkembangan ini telah dikemaskini dengan lebih teratur dengan membentuk satu jawatankuasa bagi perkembangan dan kemajuan Gerak Silat Lian yang kini telah bergerak dengan pesatnya di bawah pimpinan Guru Utama En. Nazri Bin Hussin. PJK., di mana ianya berpusat di Kuantan, Pahang. Sehingga kini pelbagai pengemaskini dari segi sistem pengajaran dan pembelajaran telah dibuat melalui Majlis Perguruan Gerak Silat Lian. Gerak Silat Lian telah dipertubuhkan pada 19 Disember 1996 dan kenali dengan nama Pertubuhan Gerak Silat Lian Malaysia ( PGSLM ).

Jurus in Gerak Pukul Lian Yunan (GPLY)

Salam Ramadhan..

Below are the list of jurus@technique which available in GPLY.

1. Tenungan Harimau ( Tiger stare )
2. Tangkap Ikan Keli ( Catfish catch )
3. Tumbukkan Gerak Kilat ( Lightning punch strike )
4. Pukul Lian - has 4 steps ( Lian attack )
5. Helang Menyambar ( Eagle strike )
6. Tangan & kaki serentak serang tetapi tapak tetap & badang gayang ( hand & leg simultaneously attack. The leg is static and body flexible like snake )
7. Masuk ketam serang ( Crab enter strike )
8. Using 1 leg as a stand then 1 front leg to give front kick & side kick for blocking and attack.
9. Attack by launching 1 & 2 L step up-front style! To open both opponent leg and then simultaneously by using both our 2 hand to hit our opponent's chest!Will be resulting your opponent is thrown out from the gelanggang.

For GPLY attack, below is several technique :
1. Tekan
2. Angkat & masuk
3. Buang

Meanwhile, presently i focus & target could get familiarize with the Akido technique!
Meaning by using the hand movement which is softly move but is quite dangerous!

By using the Akido movement technique, hopefully i could beat the more bigger opponent easily !

For your information, the principle of GPLY is to make your opponent inbalance! Then give the maximun strike till your enemy is not able to walk/stand/move @ his body break !

Gerak Pukul Lian Yunan

Salam...

Most martial arts are self-defence oriented in that you train hard to defend yourself against blows from your opponent which may rain on you in the form of punches, kicks, elbows, head butts or knee jabs. This may sound a reasonable thing to do but any street fighter will tell you that it is impossible to predict an attack especially when you know that your opponent means business and he is not walking out on this fight until you are seriously hurt.

If you go by the concept of self-defence, it simply means you have to study at least five martials in order to familiarize yourself with the form of attacks of each martial art so that you will be able to prepare yourself to handle the situation the best you can. This is foolish. You may be able to familiarize yourself very well with each martial art but there is no way of knowing for sure that your opponent will attack you with one of the attacking movements that you have drilled like crazy in a classroom situation. There are hundreds of ways to attack a person. The question is will you be able to know all of these and then train to handle each and every one of them?

Welcome to Seni Silat Lian, the concept of fighting that originated from Kwangtung and various parts in China. It was brought to Malaysia via Johor by an Arab-Chinese trader by the name of Syed Abdul Rahman Al-Yunani during the early 19th Century. The art has various names. Among the elders familiar with this art they may have studied it under the name Buah Pukul Mersing, Gayang Lima, Buah Pukul, Lian Yunan, or simply Silat Lian. The latest versions currently popular are Lian Padukan, and Gerak Lian which is very popular in Kuantan especially in Tanjung Lumpur and Sungai Ular. The art has gone through various adaptations making it a very interesting discipline to train simply because it is not self-defence oriented but rather, offence-oriented. Now you understand why the Chinese are aggresive and most of the time they get things done their way.

This art has a concept call 'rebut timba' which simply means in a brawl you cannot afford to be honorable, or honest. You should go into a fight with only one thing in mind and that is to win. Winning in this art is defined as your opponent is flat on the ground, completely broken and unable to muster a counter-attack for at least two years. It's a dangerous art which is why most of the exponents are people from a section of society you don't deal with very often.

The art is gaining popularity among the youngsters, and adults who have trained in various forms of martial arts, including Aikido. I must tell you before-hand that Silat Lian is 'buah pukul' which simply means you 'pukul' and therefore there is no locks, or grabs like that of other silat like Gayung, Cekak (Hanafi or Malaysia), Lincah, Kuntau, Sendeng, Lintau, and many others.

Insyallah, i can train and practice everyday how to accurately hit and punch.

I will be publishing my dummy wood soon..insyallah...

Forget about the politics issue. Just focus on the self-defence. How to equip ourselves with the right technique in order to survive in this present world.

Yeah has some one told me why you need to learn all those self defence because the enemy now is so sophisticated who will use the gun!

But believe me with the right technique and practice, god willing we can beat the person who has the gun!

buah pukul Lian YUNAN

salam, alhamdulillah with constant training & practice plus has a coach who can guide & show me the correct technique to beat & punch, slowly i can master & familiar wit.h all the jurus pukul. Lian Yunan was originated from southern china. In Malaysia, according to the old people, that art was brought by one muslim missionary! lian yunan has 11 basic jurus.each jurus could be transformed into deadly attack with the consistant training practice! 1 best tool is by using wooden dummy man!insyaalah i am in the process to build the wooden dummy man!hopefully on daily basis i could train by hittin.g that tool! The purpose is to allow all our body component automatically alive!to know how power of Lian Yunan so you could search at Google by keying in "wing Chung" and "lian padukan"! Wassalam.

Buah Pukul Lian Yunan

Salam ..

Welcome to 1030 Hijrah and 2009 year...!!

I would like to up-date that alhamdulillah i have completed my lesson in that self defence.

Insyallah with the consistant practice, practice and practice, i will get familiar with the jurus/buah pukul!!!

As i have shared with you, this Buah Pukul Lian Yunan is a combinantion of Muay Thai (Thai kick boxing ) + Chinese Southern Boxing ( like Bruce Lee Guru - IP Man movie! ).

In addition to that what made me really thankful because that self defence heavily used the combination of leg technique + the whole body component such as arm, knee, head & etc.

Also, one biggest lesson i learnt was Tapak Hulubalang!!!

My aim is in next 3 months i can get more familiar with all the technique which i had learnt!!!
